Ido Schoenberg, MD
Chairman & CEO
American Well Corporation
Ido serves as the Chairman and CEO of American Well Corporation and oversees the company's corporate strategy. Ido has a lengthy track record of successfully leading technology companies in the healthcare field. In 1996, together with Phyllis Gotlib, he co-founded iMDSoft, a provider of enterprise software that automates hospital critical care units. He grew the company into a market leader with a large multi-national install base in the U.S., Europe, and East Asia. In 2001, Ido joined CareKey Inc. as Chief Executive Officer and took the company through its acquisition by the TriZetto group. Ido served as TriZetto's Chief Business Strategy Officer until his departure in the summer of 2006. Ido continues to serve as the chairman of iMDSoft's scientific advisory board. Ido received his MD from the Sackler School of Medicine.

Roy Schoenberg, MD, MPH
President & CEO
American Well Systems
Roy is co-founder and CEO of American Well and tokened the Telehealth service brokerage framework that powers its systems. Today, Roy directs the company’s Product, Marketing and Operations divisions. Prior to founding American Well, Roy was the founder of CareKey Inc., delivering web-based population and health management portals for the payer market. Roy led CareKey through product development, market introduction and the adoption of its systems by more than 35 Million users. Roy continued to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Internet Solutions Officer at TriZetto, following its acquisition of CareKey in December 2005. Roy is an avid publisher and speaker in the areas of medical informatics, healthcare technology and healthcare policy. He holds an MD from Hebrew University and an MPH from Harvard where he served as a fellow in Clinical Informatics. In 2013, Roy was elected to the board of the American Telemedicine Association where he continues his quest to enlist technology to bring healthcare home.
Elif K. Eracar
Senior Vice President, Product Management & Professional Services
Elif has overall responsibility for product management, professional services and customer support organizations in American Well. Before joining American Well, Elif served as Vice President of Delivery and Support Services at Voxware, where she led the professional services, application development, quality assurance and customer support teams through successful multi-national implementations with world-class organizations, including Target, TJX Companies, 7-Eleven, Shoppers Drug Mart and Intermarche. Prior to Voxware, Elif was a Management Consultant for Camp, Dresser, & McKee, where she designed and implemented best practices for New Balance, Christmas Tree Shops, and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Elif holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Information Systems from Northeastern University.
Jon Freshman
Senior Vice President, Research & Development
Jon leads American Well’s Research and Development division, where he heads the company’s technology planning, architecture, and strategic implementation initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in enterprise software design and development, Jon has managed the development of critical software infrastructure for clients such as Dell, Fidelity, and Wal-Mart. Before joining American Well, Jon worked at BEZ Systems, where he provided leadership for BEZ’s integration of predictive database modeling tools with Oracle Enterprise Manager. Jon received a BS in Engineering from WPI, a MS in Computer Science from WPI, and an MS in Environmental Sciences from Tufts University.
Gadi Lachman
Senior Vice President, Online Care Networks
Gadi leads AmericanWell network operations, including P&L responsibilities, strategy and execution. In his prior role Gadi served as Eliza Corporation’s Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the sales, operations and financial activities that supported Eliza’s continued growth within the healthcare market. Prior to joining Eliza, Gadi was a vice president at the Trizetto Group, where he lead the operations of its Cost and Quality of Care business unit, including strategy, business planning and budgeting processes, business development and alliances efforts. He served as a CEO of a subsidiary of Kaplan and also worked at Lehman Brothers Inc.’s Investment Banking Division. He received his MBA from the Harvard Business School with high distinction and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting, and an LLB degree in law from the Tel-Aviv University
James Malone
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Jim is responsible for all aspects of the company's financial strategy, and finance and accounting functions. With more than 35 years of financial leadership experience, Jim has held the CFO position at several global healthcare companies. Prior to American Well, Jim was the CFO at Misys plc., (FTSE: MSY.L), a global software and solutions company; CFO at The TriZetto Group, the leader in information technology for the health insurance payer community, while it was publically traded on the NASDAQ; and CFO and CAO at IMS Health, a leading healthcare and pharmaceutical information provider, while it was publically traded on the NYSE. A certified public accountant (CPA), Jim received a B.S. degree in accounting from St. Francis College and attended Pace University for graduate work in tax.
Jason Medeiros
Senior Vice President, Hosting
Jason is responsible for IT Operations and Information Security of American Well’s Online Care platforms. Prior to joining American Well, Jason served as Director of SS7 & Intelligent Network Engineering at Boston Communications Group, Inc., where he led operations and engineering initiatives on national networks for clients such as Verizon Wireless, Cingular, Nextel and others. Jason has 17 years of experience leading operations, engineering and critical situation management teams in high availability environments. Jason holds a Master’s of Science in Information Security from Brandeis University as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from Brandeis University.
Mary Modahl
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
Mary Modahl’s work at American Well focuses on engaging consumers and physicians in Telehealth, and on supporting health plans, employers, and delivery system clients. She oversees corporate marketing, client marketing support, and government affairs/public relations. Mary’s prior experience includes the role of Chief Marketing Officer at QuantiaMD, a physician social network, and SVP Marketing and Government Affairs for Health Dialog, the disease management unit of Bupa Group. Prior to that, Ms. Modahl helped build Forrester Research, a publicly traded provider of technology advisory services, from its inception. She served for over 15 years on the executive team, first as the company’s Vice President, Research and then its Vice President, Marketing. Ms. Modahl earned her AB degree in economics from Harvard University.
Noël Obourn
Senior Vice President, U.S.
Noël serves as the leader of the newly formed Employer vertical, overseeing all aspects of the company’s growth and performance in this area. Noël brings over 20 years of recognized leadership in healthcare. Prior to joining American Well, she served in a variety of leadership capacities in the country’s largest insurance companies and providers, including leadership roles at Aetna, United Healthcare, Cigna and Walgreens. In each of these posts, she successfully built and redesigned teams which delivered unparalleled performance. Additionally, a proven entrepreneur, she spent several years building and leading new organizations at high tech healthcare growth companies, including Revolution Health and Extend Health. She serves as an advisor to several industry organizations and is a frequent speaker regarding healthcare innovation. Noël earned her B.A. from Northwestern University.

Danielle Russella
Executive Vice President, Customer Solutions
Danielle is responsible for overseeing all facets of the customer experience, including all client product and services revenue, client relations, partnership development and collaboration, and account development and strategy. For more than five years prior, Danielle was Executive Vice President of Client Solutions for MEDecision, a collaborative care management software company providing software, services and clinical content to healthcare payers. Prior to MEDecision, Danielle was with Hewlett-Packard (HP), where she held various senior-level positions in HP’s Middleware software division, including serving as GM for ISV/OEM Solution Sales for the Americas and Worldwide, and as Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations for Bluestone Software (which was acquired by HP). Prior to HP, Danielle served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Momentum Systems. Prior to her 19-year software career, Danielle spent several years as an investment banker. Danielle received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Drexel University.
Ling Shao
Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions
Ling is responsible for developing and fostering new relationships with American Well that increase the adoption of telehealth. Prior to joining American Well, Ling spent nearly a decade in various leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group where she was most recently the Health Innovation Executive working with UHC’s largest national customers. While at UHG, she also served as a Strategic Client Executive for UHC National Accounts, lead business development efforts in turning around Evercare’s New York Medicare Advantage Plan and worked closely with Optum’s Chief Medical Officer in product management. Before UHG, Ling was a senior consultant with Booz & Co. and served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant and a nurse. Ling holds an MBA from Harvard University and BS in Nuclear Engineering from MIT.
