Ido Schoenberg

Ido Schoenberg, MD

Ido serves as the Chairman and CEO of American Well Corporation and oversees the company's corporate strategy. Ido has a lengthy track record of successfully leading technology companies in the healthcare field. In 1996, together with Phyllis Gotlib, he co-founded iMDSoft, a provider of enterprise software that automates hospital critical care units. He grew the company into a market leader with a large multi-national install base in the U.S., Europe, and East Asia. In 2001, Ido joined CareKey Inc. as Chief Executive Officer and took the company through its acquisition by the TriZetto group (NASDAQ:TZIX). Ido served as TriZetto's Chief Business Strategy Officer until his departure in the summer of 2006. Ido continues to serve as the chairman of iMDSoft's scientific advisory board. Ido received his MD from the Sackler School of Medicine.

   
Roy Schoenberg

Roy Schoenberg, MD, MPH

Roy serves as American Well Systems' CEO and is the inventor of the American Well™ concept. Today, Roy directs the company's product development as well as the rest of the company's Operations divisions. Prior to founding American Well, Roy was the inventor and founder of CareKey Inc., a software vendor offering electronic health management systems. Roy led CareKey through product development, market introduction and the adoption of its web-based health management solutions by more than 35 Million users. Roy continued to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Internet Solutions Officer at TriZetto (NASDAQ:TZIX), following its acquisition of CareKey in December 2005. Roy is the author of numerous publications, talks and books in the area of Medical Informatics, many of which he published during his work at the Center for Clinical Computing at Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. Roy holds an MD from the Hebrew University Medical School and an MPH in Healthcare Management from Harvard University.


Danielle Russella

Danielle Russella
Executive Vice President, Customer Solutions

Danielle serves as the company's Executive Vice President of Customer Solutions and is responsible for all facets of the customer experience. Her focus includes taking the Company's products and services to the healthcare marketplace and overseeing product and services revenue, client relationship management, and account development and management. From 2002 until 2007 Danielle was Executive Vice President of Client Solutions for MEDecision, a collaborative care management software company providing software, services and clinical content to healthcare payers. Prior to MEDecision, Danielle was with Hewlett-Packard where she held various senior level positions in HP’s Middleware software division. Over a 2-year period she served as GM for Independent Software Vendor/Original Equipment Manufacturer solution sales for the Americas and Worldwide, and as Vice President of Worldwide Sales Operations for Bluestone Software (which was acquired by HP in late 2000). From 1991 until 2000, Danielle served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Momentum Systems, a business-to-business software company focused on the financial, healthcare and insurance markets. Prior to her 17-year software career, Danielle spent 4 years as an investment banker in the treasury division of First Fidelity Bancorporation. Danielle received a B.S. in Finance from Drexel University.

Erik C. Hjortshoj

Vice President, Research & Development

Erik joined American Well to architect, recruit for, launch, and manage the company's development division. He provides strategic technical leadership for the company and directs the R&D, hosting, and IT initiatives. Erik brings 20 years of diverse software development and leadership experience to American Well. Early in his career, Erik specialized in search engines and natural language technologies. He then applied these technologies to problems in Human Resource applications. In doing so Erik accumulated successes in building strong engineering teams, and rolling out enterprise-scale solutions to multi-national companies such as Wal-Mart, Xerox, FedEx, and Bank of America. Erik received his bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from the University of Rochester.

Yael Glassman

Vice President, Marketing

Yael serves as American Well's Vice President of Marketing. In this role, Yael is responsible for planning, staffing, and managing all marketing functions including market research, product marketing and marketing communications. Prior to American Well, Yael led the marketing of The TriZetto Group's (NASDAQ:TZIX) Care Management business, where she was responsible for product marketing planning and execution for the CareAdvance™ suite. While at TriZetto, Yael was also selected to work directly for the company's CEO, as an apprentice. Yael joined TriZetto from CareKey Inc., where she was the first employee, and member of the start-up team. At CareKey, Yael had numerous responsibilities including the management of the company's initial, strategic implementations. Yael received a bachelor's degree in psychology and communications from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Matthew Jarman

Vice President, Corporate Development

As Vice President for Corporate Development, Matt leads American Well’s business development and strategic planning activities. Prior to American Well, Matt was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). At BCG, he worked with industry leaders in health care, pharmaceuticals, and telecommunications to design new Web and electronic services, develop multi-disciplinary merger integration strategies, and create global information technology strategies. Before earning his MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, Matt was a submarine nuclear engineering officer in the U.S. Navy, where he designed and led complex, multi-organization workflows for the Navy’s first-ever strategic missile system conversion. Matt also holds a BA in computer science and an MS in electrical engineering from Northwestern University.

Elif K. Eracar

Vice President, Product Management

As American Well's Vice President of Product Management, Elif is responsible for product planning, design, and requirements. She also manages training and support for the Customer Solutions, Marketing, and Professional Services teams. Before joining American Well, Elif served as Vice President of Delivery and Support Services at Voxware, where she led the professional services, application development, quality assurance, and customer support teams through successful multi-national implementations with world-class organizations, including Target, TJX Companies, and 7-Eleven. Prior to Voxware, Elif was a Management Consultant for Camp, Dresser, & McKee, where she designed and implemented best practices for New Balance, Christmas Tree Shops, and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. Elif holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MS in Information Systems from Northeastern University.

Omar Lyles

Omar Lyles
Vice President, Visual Design

As Vice President of Visual Design, Omar is responsible for the visual and creative aspects of company initiatives, from software user interfaces to branding and collateral. Prior to American Well, Omar served as Director of Application Design at TriZetto, where he established the graphic language for TriZetto CareAdvance Enterprise™ and guided the work of company designers to ensure visual quality and stylistic cohesion. Before joining TriZetto, Omar created visual and interactive designs for clients including PUMA, Genzyme, and Avid. Omar holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University and a Master of Design Studies from Harvard University.
