American Well Adds Online Breastfeeding Support to the #1 Telehealth Platform

Company’s clinical partner, Online Care Group, expands its growing list of services by adding online breastfeeding support, becoming the only virtual medical group to do so

BOSTON – May 4, 2017 – American Well announced today that its clinical partner, Online Care Group, has added online breastfeeding support to its growing list of clinical services. Health systems, health plans and employers using American Well technology can now offer customers’ access to International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) for on-demand and scheduled video visits. This unique service gives new mothers access to professional experts who can answer questions, address concerns and offer advice concerning breastfeeding and related challenges that may arise with feeding a newborn.

American Well is the only company to offer breastfeeding support services through its clinical partner.
