Avizia Unveils Support for SMART on FHIR Standard for Plug-and-Play Collaboration

Healthcare organizations can now offer virtual visits and video calling with push-button ease, within their existing EHRs

RESTON, VA — March 1, 2018 — Avizia, empowering system-wide telehealth, has announced support for the SMART on FHIR standard, which will allow healthcare organizations to launch virtual visits and telehealth workflows from their EHRs.

By aligning with the HL7^® FHIR standard, Avizia enables healthcare organizations to add telehealth capabilities into their existing clinical workflow with the push of a button. By offering services such as remote video encounters through their EHRs, organizations will be able to maximize their existing technology investments and improve workflow across a variety of use cases.
