RealMed and American Well Join Forces to Expedite Online Care Integration Into Health Plans’ Financial Systems

Indianapolis, IN and Boston, MA — April 15, 2009 — RealMed and American Well™ today announced that they have entered into a collaboration agreement to bring together capabilities provided by RealMed’s revenue cycle management services and American Well’s Online Care system. The joint capabilities will offer health plans a turnkey solution for integrating Online Care into their financial systems.

The joint offering will streamline the incorporation of Online Care services into the health plan’s financial infrastructure, delivering lower cost of deployment, shorter time to market and simplified Online Care benefit administration.
